Gary Seidman
Gary Seidman started SwitchYard Media after a 20-year career as a writer, producer, on-air correspondent and media executive. He was the founding editor of MSNBC.com in 1996, and prior to joining MSNBC, Gary was a reporter, producer and news manager for CNN; an on-air correspondent and bureau chief for Reuters Television; and a correspondent covering Latin American and developing world politics and economics for Reuters. His reporting has earned numerous awards and his stories have appeared in The New York Times, The Economist and The Washington Post, among others, and he has written, reported and produced for CBS, CNN, CBC and NBC.
Ryan Carey is our Director of Business Development, having worked in software, media and the online world for over two decades. His job is building profitable and durable partnerships, among organizations that include Dow Jones, MSNBC.com (now NBCNews.com) Associated Press, Thomson Reuters, Hearst, Kelley Blue Book, Condé Nast, Forbes, and many others. He has managed data and wrangled content for verticals including Local, Finance, Real Estate, Autos, News, Events, Reference/Education, and worked to syndicate content and data for Travel and daily deals categories.

Lang Kirchheimer is a project manager at SwitchYard Media. In his past 10 years in media and marketing, he has worn most every hat in the media making process. Prior to working for SwitchYard, Lang handled the technical aspects of multi-million dollar ad campaigns at Razorfish, the world’s largest marketing agency.

She has been practicing journalism for the past 20 years in print and digital media, most recently at Big Earth Publishing and Upworthy.com. She ran several small newspapers in southwest Colorado and her freelance writing has appeared in Women’s Adventure Magazine, Book, Edible, Huffington Post, and elsewhere. She is the co-owner of Telluride Publishing.

He has earned numerous national and international awards from the Society of Professional Journalists, the Society for News Design and others for his design and illustrations. He is a member of AIGA.
